User Agent Parser

Paste a user agent string and see the browser, engine, operating system, device type and bot behind it — parsed token by token, entirely in your browser.

—

The parser reads the string; it cannot verify that a user agent is genuine. Bots can send anything, and Chromium freezes parts of the version — that is why Client Hints exist.

What a user agent string actually contains

A user agent is the short line of text a browser, bot or script sends with every request. Paste any UA string — from a server log, an analytics export, a support ticket or a scraper report — and this parser splits it into its product tokens and names what each one means. It identifies the browser family and version, the rendering engine, the operating system and its version, the device type, the Android model when the string carries one, the CPU architecture, and whether the line belongs to a bot or an HTTP client instead of a person. It also flags the traps: frozen Chromium versions, the Windows 10/11 ambiguity, and iOS strings where every browser is WebKit underneath. Everything runs locally in your browser; the string is never uploaded.
