Encode text for links, query parameters and API calls — or decode %XX escapes back into readable text. Nothing is uploaded, everything stays in your browser.
A URL may only contain a limited set of characters, so spaces, umlauts, emoji and characters like &, ? or # have to be written as percent escapes such as %20 or %C3%BC. This URL encoder turns your text into exactly those escapes — pick “Component” for a single query value, or “Full URL” when you are pasting a whole link and want the structure characters :/?#&= to stay readable. Switch to Decode to turn a percent-encoded string back into normal text, and tick “Space as +” if you are working with form or query-string style data where spaces are written as plus signs. “Keep existing %XX escapes” prevents double encoding when your input already contains escapes, and malformed escapes or broken UTF-8 byte sequences are reported instead of being silently mangled. Everything happens locally in your browser: nothing is uploaded, and you can copy the result or download it as a .txt file.
