Work out the tip, the total and how much each person pays. Enter the bill, pick a tip percentage (5/10/15/18/20 or your own) and optionally split it between several people.
Tip and total are rounded to the nearest cent. One comma or dot is the decimal separator (12,50 or 12.50); thousands separators work in pairs, as in 1.234,56 or 1,234.56. The split is arithmetical — it says nothing about who ordered what.
This tip calculator turns a bill into three numbers: the tip, the total and the share per person. Type the bill amount, choose a tip percentage with one click (5, 10, 15, 18 or 20 percent) or enter your own value, and the result updates while you type. The number of people is optional — leave it empty and you get the tip and the total for the whole bill, enter 2 or more and the bill plus tip is split evenly. Amounts are rounded to the nearest cent, and both 12,50 and 12.50 are accepted, so the tool works with German and English number formats. If the total does not divide evenly between the people, the page tells you instead of hiding the rounding difference. This is a plain percentage calculator for restaurants, cafes and delivery orders. It does not know local tipping customs or tax rules, it gives no advice, and it stores nothing: the maths runs entirely in your browser.
