Calculate shipping cost from weight and dimensions: volumetric weight, chargeable weight, zone tariffs, quantity tiers, bulky goods, COD and insurance surcharges — plus a tariff comparison.
| Tariff | Chargeable | Per parcel | Total |
|---|
This calculator turns parcel dimensions and weight into a shipping price using a tariff table you enter yourself. Enter length, width and height in centimetres and pick the volumetric factor: carriers divide the volume by 5000 for parcels and by 6000 for bulky goods, which gives the volumetric weight. The chargeable weight is the greater of actual and volumetric weight, rounded up to half a kilogram. The tariff table holds one line per tier as zone; max weight; price, with "*" for the open-ended top tier. A quantity discount applies for 1 to 100 parcels, and surcharges for bulky goods, cash on delivery, insurance and fuel are added per parcel. A second table shows a competing tariff beside the first. The pre-filled values are examples only - replace them with your own contract rates.
